The Jamboree Organizing Committee



2005 Organizing Committee Members

The Organizing Committee is responsible to ensure the yearly presentation continues to meet its Mission Statement. The Commitee Members provide the Tournament Director with their expertise and skills as guidance. This ensures that each Jamboree lives up to its Mission Statement.

That Mission Statement reads: "…to enhance the game of fastball, with emphasis on minor girls, by means of an annual international tournament which provides a high level of competition, fun and fellowship for players, coaches, parents and fans alike".

The committee membership includes both men and woman, some who are not residents of the Region of Waterloo. The Board of Director format has been eliminated in favour of the Tournament Director being guided by the organizing committee. This format seems to be working quite well at the present time.

The Committee consists of:
Todd Ronald - Tournament Director,    Pete McIlwraith - Past Tournament Director,
Brian Page Assistant Director,    Murray Grose - Treasurer,    Donna Heer - Secretary,
Dave McLelland - Advisor.
